Join Our Team as a Founding Frontend Engineer
We are seeking a Founding Frontend Engineer to join our team at Clarum, a YC-backed startup. As our first engineering hire, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company and product. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our co-founders and have a significant impact on the private capital markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Design Interfaces: Create intuitive and beautiful interfaces that simplify navigation through complex, high-volume data.
- Build Dashboards: Design and implement fluid interactions and dashboards for professionals at multi-billion-dollar funds.
- Collaborate with Co-Founders: Work closely with the co-founders to shape the product, technical, and cultural directions of the company.
- Make Critical Decisions: Take ownership of the product and make critical technical and design decisions.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years as a Frontend Engineer.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in Next.js and Tailwind, with strong UI/UX design skills.
- Attributes: Hard-working, ownership-driven, proactive, honest, accountable, adaptable, and a passion for learning.
- Environment: Experience in fast-paced environments with long hours.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with backend web servers and ML/LLMs.
- Understanding of the finance industry.
- Experience architecting systems from the ground up.
