Role Overview
Sealed, a pioneering climate tech company, is seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for software development and a desire to impact the residential energy efficiency sector. You will be working on our core FastAPI Python application, focusing on backend engineering, data ingestion, transformation, and serverless processes.
Responsibilities
- Software Development: Engage in all phases of software development, from design to deployment, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute features that enhance contractor success and user satisfaction.
- Innovation: Quickly prototype new ideas and stay abreast of industry trends to keep our solutions at the cutting edge.
- User Experience: Enhance the Sealed app’s performance and reliability by developing new features and refining existing functionalities.
- Mentorship: Offer guidance and feedback to peers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 2-6 years in software development, preferably with some exposure to startup environments.
- Skills: Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and familiarity with data processes and serverless computing.
- Attributes: Strong communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a focus on product and user needs.
