Role Overview
As an Experienced Backend Software Developer at Teamleader, you will be a crucial member of a cross-functional team responsible for delivering backend functionality for our products. You will transform functional challenges and acceptance criteria into well-crafted, maintainable application code. Your role will involve identifying bugs, improving code quality, and participating in technical discussions to solve common problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend functionality for Teamleader products.
- Identify and resolve bugs and bad coding patterns.
- Participate in technical discussions and propose solutions.
- Coach junior developers through pair programming and code reviews.
- Monitor build and deploy pipelines to ensure efficient delivery.
Ideal Candidate
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, particularly in multi-team environments.
- Proficient in PHP and its frameworks, with a deep understanding of modern web applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
