Job Overview
Nasdaq is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team in Wroclaw, Poland. This role focuses on developing reporting templates based on regulatory requirements using the Nasdaq AxiomSL development environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for data transformations, validations, and creating output files using SQL-based tools and MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze regulatory reporting requirements and develop report logic using AxiomSL proprietary software.
- Develop report templates, electronic submission files, and validation rules.
- Conduct unit-testing of report builds and create supporting technical documentation.
- Collaborate with product and project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance engineers.
- Work with MS Excel and similar applications for data transformation.
- Analyze regulatory reports and relationships between reporting indicators.
- Develop algorithms for converting incoming data to a suitable structure for reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability with high attention to detail.
- Experience in financial services, accounting, regulatory reporting, or FinTech.
- Proficient in Excel and database concepts, preferably with Oracle or MS SQL Server.
- Strong written and verbal English skills in business and technical contexts.
- Knowledge of Jira and understanding of SDLC and release management processes.
- Experience with AxiomSL Controller View is a significant advantage.
