Amperos Health is on a mission to revolutionize back-office operations in healthcare by leveraging AI-first experiences. We are seeking a Founding Engineer to join our team and help us tackle some of the biggest administrative challenges in US healthcare. Our vision is to empower healthcare providers with AI co-workers that handle insurance-related workflows, allowing them to focus more on patient care.
About the Role
As a Founding Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Build Full Stack User Flows: Develop features that automate administrative workflows, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual tasks.
- Enhance Voice AI Infrastructure: Work on improving call success rates, reducing latency, and scaling concurrent calls.
- Prototype and Productize AI Models: Experiment with LLM models in voice AI agents and develop new generative AI features.
- Integrate with Healthcare EMR Software: Use FHIR protocols to build and maintain integrations with existing healthcare systems.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years of full stack software engineering experience. Proficiency in TypeScript and Python is essential.
- Product-Minded: Ability to ship solutions to customer problems end-to-end.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a startup environment, wearing multiple hats across engineering, product, and support.
- Location: Preferably in-person 4-5 days a week in our NYC office, but flexible for the right candidate.
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with Next.js, Tailwind, AWS Lambdas, DynamoDB.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and building generative AI products.
