About the Role
Garner Health is seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in TypeScript to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in revolutionizing how people find top doctors and get their medical claims reimbursed promptly. You will collaborate closely with a talented product and design team, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and contributing to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch new features: Improve the overall quality of the Garner app.
- Collaborate across disciplines: Understand our users and iterate on new ideas.
- Ensure privacy and security: Protect our users through secure coding practices.
- Support the Garner app in production: Maintain and enhance the application.
Our Tech Stack
- Languages & Frameworks: TypeScript, React, NodeJS
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Istio, AWS, Terraform
- Databases: PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch
- Other Tools: NATS, Docker
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years of hands-on work delivering full-stack software.
- Expertise: Proficient in TypeScript (preferred) or modern JavaScript.
- Familiarity: Experience with React, NodeJS, Docker, and a major cloud provider.
- Database Systems: Experience with PostgreSQL or ElasticSearch.
- Methodologies: Experience working in a team using agile methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 per year.
- Equity Incentive: Eligible to participate in our equity incentive plan.
