Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Developer to join our team on a freelance basis. This role is primarily remote, with occasional on-site work in Nuremberg, Germany. You will be working on a critical project that supports the implementation of the Registermodernisierungsgesetz, a key legislative initiative in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Enterprise Software: Create critical software modules using Scrum methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify, analyze, and resolve software issues.
- Technical Leadership: Lead project teams and provide technical guidance.
- DevOps Practices: Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Flux and GitHub Actions.
- Architectural Development: Contribute to the conceptual development of online service architectures.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive Experience: At least 7 years of experience in agile software development processes.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in Java, Quarkus, Apache Kafka, REST, AWS S3, Kubernetes, Flux CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and MariaDB.
Project Background
The project aims to facilitate the capture and retrieval of identity data, aligning with the Registermodernisierungsgesetz. This involves:
- Introducing a unified ID number.
- Connecting to the Identity Data Retrieval Procedure (IDA).
- Preparing for integration with the Data Protection Cockpit (DSC).
- Deciding on the optional piloting of an application case.
