ING Hubs Romania offers a wide range of services in software development, data management, non-financial risk & compliance, audit, and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide. With over 1700 high-performing engineers, risk, and operations professionals, we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities from our locations in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
The Mission
The SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) initiative is an ING Group project aimed at the digital transformation of Business Banking at a group level. The goal is to provide a foundation for global development of solutions and features for Business Banking clients, unlocking synergies between countries and avoiding duplication.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Team Development: Coach, mentor, and provide constant feedback to your team.
- Code Review and Knowledge Sharing: Engage in code reviews and share knowledge with your team.
- Software Releases: Prepare and participate in software component releases using automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Solution Design: Responsible for designing efficient, high-quality solutions based on requested functionalities.
- HR Activities: Conduct 1-to-1 meetings, manage performance, and set targets for team members.
- Recruitment: Collaborate with the recruitment team to attract, onboard, and retain top talent.
What You Bring to the Team
- Educational Background: University/Master's degree in information technology.
- Experience: Proven experience in coaching and motivating team members.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of the web platform including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES modules, and web components.
- Frameworks: Experience with frameworks/libraries such as Polymer, LitElement, ReactJS, VueJS, AngularJS, and Redux.
- CI/CD and Code Quality: Familiarity with CI & CD, code quality tools like Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
- Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with security components and secure coding.
- Knowledge of network components and infrastructure.
