Join ING Hubs Romania as a Kotlin & React Software Engineer in our Transaction Services department. Our team empowers the Wholesale Banks Transaction Service Business Unit with data expertise and solutions, supporting a global business with data-driven decisions.
The Mission
You will be part of the WBAA TS Squad, a cross-functional team that combines data visualization with advanced analytics to monitor and increase profitability. Our mission is to provide the go-to insights solution for more than 300 users, enabling them to make informed decisions that impact the business significantly.
Your Role
- Work with global banking datasets.
- Guide the team in building feasible, best-in-class analytics products.
- Develop APIs for analytics purposes.
- Create frontend solutions using React.
- Translate business rules from SMEs into data engineering paradigms.
- Build systems optimized for scale, including TPS optimization, data-flow security, monitoring, and alerting.
What You'll Bring
- Proficiency in Kotlin, GO, or Scala.
- Experience in building APIs and managing backend services.
- Frontend development skills, particularly in React.
- Experience in building systems for scale.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT-related field is preferred.
