Kotlin & React Software Engineer - Transaction Services

Overview

Join ING Hubs Romania as a Kotlin & React Software Engineer in our Transaction Services department. Our team empowers the Wholesale Banks Transaction Service Business Unit with data expertise and solutions, supporting a global business with data-driven decisions.

The Mission

You will be part of the WBAA TS Squad, a cross-functional team that combines data visualization with advanced analytics to monitor and increase profitability. Our mission is to provide the go-to insights solution for more than 300 users, enabling them to make informed decisions that impact the business significantly.

Your Role

Work with global banking datasets.
Guide the team in building feasible, best-in-class analytics products.
Develop APIs for analytics purposes.
Create frontend solutions using React.
Translate business rules from SMEs into data engineering paradigms.
Build systems optimized for scale, including TPS optimization, data-flow security, monitoring, and alerting.

What You'll Bring

Proficiency in Kotlin, GO, or Scala.
Experience in building APIs and managing backend services.
Frontend development skills, particularly in React.
Experience in building systems for scale.
Advanced English proficiency.
A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an IT-related field is preferred.
