Job Description
Mathematica is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Core Services Practice within the Health Solutions and Insights Department. This role is remote eligible, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing features, fixing bugs, and mentoring junior staff across the stack, including frontend, API layer, and database.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications across the full stack, including frontend, API, and database layers.
- Collaborate with UX researchers, UI designers, and other developers to create user-friendly and efficient applications.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Work on a variety of projects, each offering opportunities to deepen existing skills and develop new competencies.
Requirements
- Strong development experience with excellent debugging skills.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, preferably with TypeScript and the Angular framework.
- Experience with C#, Python, Java, and SQL databases.
- Preferred experience in building web-based dashboards with D3 and managing datasets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.

Additional Information
- This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $75,000 - $100,000.
- Staff working on CMS contracts will be required to complete a successful background investigation.
