What You’ll Do
As a Fullstack TypeScript Developer at bol.com, you will be instrumental in creating powerful and intuitive tools for our engineers. These tools are designed to provide solutions for millions of customers and partner sellers. Your role is crucial in optimizing and innovating our highly complex technical platform, which not only empowers engineers but also inspires them to deliver excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Optimize Platforms: You will help create the perfect technical platform for building and running a slew of critical applications. This platform allows developers to run their applications so smoothly that they never even think about the underlying tech.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work alongside experienced backend engineers, product managers, tech leads, and UX designers to bend highly technical challenges into brilliant solutions.
- Enhance User Experience: Use your expertise in React, TypeScript, and Node.js to enhance the user journey and experience on our developer portal, Crystal, which runs on Spotify’s Backstage Design System based on React and Material-UI.
Ideal Candidate
- Skilled in Fullstack Development: Proficient in React, TypeScript, and Node.js with a strong focus on both backend and frontend development tasks.
- Team Player: You enjoy collaborating and sharing knowledge with experienced software engineers, designers, and colleagues in other disciplines.
- Adaptable: Comfortable mixing tasks across React, TypeScript, and backend development to perfect both UI and backend components.
