About the Role
As a Full Stack Engineer on the Marketing Engineering team at Cloudflare, you will be tasked with building and maintaining the systems that power our marketing website, blog, marketing preferences, and more. You will work with Cloudflare Workers deployed on our edge network and develop services using Node.js and Golang. Your responsibilities will include optimizing our TypeScript/Gatsby/Astro build system, building Workers in TypeScript, and developing services and tooling in TypeScript, AstroJS, and Golang.
Responsibilities
- Build tools, frameworks, and libraries to help the front-end team build a better www.cloudflare.com.
- Optimize our TypeScript/Gatsby/Astro build system.
- Build Workers in TypeScript.
- Build services and tooling in TypeScript, AstroJS, and Golang.
- Review work from your peers throughout all stages of the development lifecycle.
- Plan and contribute to engineering work on large projects.
- Collaborate with team members to help bring out their best work.
Examples Of Desirable Skills, Knowledge And Experience
- More than 2 years of experience building and managing high volume software applications; Golang and Typescript are a plus.
- Experience building, deploying, and operating services.
- You enjoy getting things done and have a bias for action: you're a builder and a creator and have contributed to small teams that deliver results.
- Experience contributing to build systems for large JavaScript projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Curiosity and empathy are coveted traits here!
- Deep understanding of the web and technologies such as web browsers, HTTP, JavaScript, and the DOM.
