Overview
Join Tripadvisor, the world's largest travel guidance platform, as a Software Engineer II on our Full Stack team. Responsibilities
- Project Ownership: Take on projects with independence, aiming to improve the existing framework.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with product teams, SEO analysts, and UX researchers, particularly focusing on restaurant-related features.
- Code Quality Leadership: Ensure high standards of code quality through rigorous design and code reviews.
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor to junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a learning environment.
- Technical Innovation: Contribute to the engineering community within Tripadvisor through tech talks and design reviews.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Experience with Java, React, GraphQL, SQL, Postgres, Linux, Python, Gradle, BERT, Snowflake, Kafka, AWS is a plus.
- Ability to handle large datasets and derive insights from data analysis.
- Passion for solving complex business problems, possibly with an entrepreneurial background.
