Join Airbnb's Regulatory Platform & Operations Team as a Senior Software Engineer and contribute to one of the most critical domains globally. The Difference You Will Make
- Work with cross-functional partners including product managers, designers, policy, legal, and operation partners to design and deliver high-quality products.
- Build strong relationships between Airbnb and governments, crucial for companies in the sharing economy.
- Drive development with next-generation technologies, building efficient and reusable web components.
- Architect reliable, performant, and scalable solutions.
- Optimize user experience to extend core functionality and improve existing features.
- Lead working group sessions and collaborate on projects including proposal and design doc reviews, and roadmap planning.
Your Expertise
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for learning.
- Experience in building large web applications using technologies like Javascript/Typescript, Java, Kotlin, HTML, CSS, React, and GraphQL.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and indexing.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch and streaming technologies is a plus.

How We'll Take Care Of You
- Competitive salary range of $185,000—$221,000 USD, subject to factors like experience and market demands.
