Join the Host Calendar Team at Airbnb
Airbnb is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Host Calendar team. This team is responsible for developing the next generation of tools that empower Airbnb hosts to manage their properties more effectively. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in crafting innovative solutions that help hosts optimize their business operations.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with product and design partners to explore problem spaces and devise solutions to customer problems.
- Work with other product engineers and partners to develop services that support Host calendar and availability functionality.
- Be part of an impactful team working on scaling distributed applications in a highly-available environment.
- Make architectural trade-offs applying design patterns and disciplined execution.
- Engage in personal projects that demonstrate technical excellence and product sense.
- Show motivation for personal growth by working in areas outside of your usual comfort zone.
Your Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of industry experience and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, Python, Go, Rust, C/C++/C#.
- Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams with design, product, and data science partners.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and across engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and solid production debugging skills.
Location
This position is US - Remote Eligible. While the role is primarily remote, occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites may be required, as agreed with your manager. You must reside in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $153,000—$180,000 USD
- This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
