Staff Frontend Software Engineer, Host Calendar

Join Airbnb's Host Calendar team as a Staff Frontend Software Engineer and contribute to the next generation of tools for our hosts. This role involves crafting user-friendly web applications that help hosts manage their properties more effectively and optimize their revenue. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Design and Product to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Experience Designers, Product Managers, and other Engineers to design and deliver high-quality products.
- Build efficient and reusable web components.
- Architect reliable, performant, and scalable solutions.
- Mentor and guide other engineers, advocating for their career growth.
- Identify areas for improvement and drive best practices in web development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 9+ years of experience in developing web applications at scale.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript libraries and tooling (e.g., React, GraphQL).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to visual details.
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility development and testing.
Location
This is a remote position open to candidates in the United States, with occasional visits to the office or offsite meetings as agreed with your manager.

How We'll Take Care of You
- Competitive salary range of $204,000 to $259,000 USD per year.
- Potential for bonuses and equity.
