Join Census as a Growth Engineer
Census is seeking a talented Growth Engineer to join our team in New York, NY. As the founding Growth Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's expansion and success. You will work closely with our growth, data, product, and operations teams to build experiments that drive user acquisition, adoption, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Experiments: You will develop and execute data-driven experiments to optimize user acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Build Internal Tools: Create and maintain internal tools and automation to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with our data team to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to implement and measure growth initiatives.
- Full-Stack Development: Design and develop full-stack solutions using Node, React, and Ruby, and build micro applications.
- Iterate on Features: Continuously iterate on existing features and processes to drive incremental improvements.
Must Haves
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with a focus on growth or product development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (Node, React/Vue, Remix) and strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools (e.g., Snowflake, Hex/Jupyter, Python).
- A/B Testing: Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and experimentation frameworks.
- Cloud Services: Experience with cloud services such as Render, DO, Heroku, or AWS Beanstalk for app deployment.
- Passion for Product: A passion for building products and experiences that delight customers.
Nice to Haves
- Growth Team Experience: Previous experience working on a growth team in a SaaS or B2B environment.
- Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with Reverse ETL.
- Marketing Automation: Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Customer.io).
Compensation
- Salary: €125,000 - €200,000
- Equity: Meaningful equity in the company.
