About the Role
We are seeking a talented Growth Engineer - Full-Stack to join our team. This role is ideal for a software engineer who is eager to learn about business and contribute to the growth of an innovative IoT startup. You will be responsible for building our e-commerce and self-service revenue products.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across the entire stack, from architecture and deployment to testing.
- Use Python for backend development and JavaScript (Vue) for frontend development.
- Manage infrastructure using AWS.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales operations, and product teams to implement growth initiatives.
- Lead engineering discussions and write comprehensive documentation and tests.
- Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a full stack, API engineering, or application services role.
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript (Vue).
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies and testing frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with different parts of the organization to solve major business problems.
- B.S., M.S. degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related technical experience.
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of experience on a Growth team.
- Experience using Vue in production web applications.
- Experience with AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, Amplify, Lambda, CloudFront.
- Familiarity with tools like Turborepo, Terraform, Cypress.
- Knowledge of services like Salesforce, Contentful.
Compensation
Samsara offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary, bonus/variable, and restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $93,415—$157,000 USD.
