About the Role
As a Growth Engineer at Whop, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by building and automating tools that enhance our business strategies. You will be responsible for developing bots and scripts that automate growth strategies, significantly impacting the company's top-line metrics. This role requires close collaboration with the Partnerships, Account Management, and Growth Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain bots that automate growth strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities.
- Build tools that help onboard more creators and increase supply on Whop.
- Develop simple data-feed bots, similar to Discord bots, as Whop Apps.
- Experiment with new strategies and scale existing ones quickly.
Your First 90 Days
- Within 30 days: Kick off your first scraping project.
- Within 60 days: Maintain scraping projects and start building mini Whop apps.
- Within 90 days: Build multiple bots, scrapers, and Whop Apps that drive new creator growth.
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of software engineering experience in high-growth environments.
- Proficient in Python and JavaScript, with extensive experience in building Discord bots and large-scale bots.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly resourceful and adaptable in a competitive, fast-changing landscape.
