At CARIAD, we are at the forefront of automotive software development within the Volkswagen Group. We are seeking a motivated intern or working student to join our vehicle data delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in AI, machine learning, and data engineering.
Your Role
As part of our team, you will:
- Work on Data Pipelines: Set up and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient delivery of vehicle data for AI and machine learning applications.
- Develop and Optimize Models: Focus on analysis and classification of vehicle data, particularly using Large Language Models (LLMs), pattern recognition, and anomaly detection.
- Collaborate with the Tech Team: Bring models from development to production, managing the full end-to-end process.
- Contribute to AI Product Roadmap: Define practical applications of machine learning and LLMs in the automotive industry.
- Conduct Research and Experiments: Regularly report findings to your supervisor.
Who You Are
- Education: Enrolled in a Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Python and machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Hands-on experience with LLMs and deep learning models is essential.
- Data Engineering Tools: Experience with data engineering tools and cloud platforms, particularly Databricks, is a big plus.
- Cloud and Containerization: Familiarity with containerized technology (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments (Azure preferred).
- CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of models.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a passion for cutting-edge technologies in AI and machine learning.
