Join Mediaplus Insights, the research unit of Mediaplus, Europe's largest independent partner-managed media agency, as a Junior Data Scientist. This role is crucial in leveraging data to generate insights and develop effective models and products that provide measurable value to our clients.
What You Will Do
- Engage in data analytics, particularly sales forecasts and econometric marketing-mix models.
- Work at the intersection of Data Science, Machine Learning, App Development, and Media Consulting.
- Develop automated solutions for advertising effectiveness analysis, including report and dashboard creation.
- Progress quickly to managing your own projects.
What We Expect From You
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with a strong academic record.
- Practical experience in data analysis, preferably with media data.
- Proficiency in Python or R, and SQL, with knowledge of various multivariate analysis techniques.
- Experience in data visualization/front-end development (e.g., Plotly, Dash, Streamlit, Shiny, PowerBI) or web development (Flask, Django, JavaScript, Git, HTML) is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, structured approach, team spirit, eagerness to learn, and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
