Your Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers to develop and enhance end-to-end solutions using advanced data science and machine learning methods.
• Construct and manage data pipelines that leverage diverse data sources to optimize machine learning workflows.
• Define metrics to evaluate model performance and align them with key business performance indicators.
• Master the complete data science process, including development, deployment, and monitoring of supervised and unsupervised models.
• Organize and break down machine learning projects into manageable work items, ensuring transparency and tracking progress.
• Identify and implement cutting-edge text and image classification technologies that deliver business value and support Scout24's growth.
• Contribute to the establishment of best practices, frameworks, and tools that facilitate the creation of impactful machine learning products.
• Mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and assisting them in excelling at their roles.

What You Need to Succeed

• A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in developing machine learning models using Python, including proficiency with standard libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, numpy, pandas) and at least one specialized framework (e.g., xgboost, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch).
• Solid understanding of one or more of the following domains: classification, time series prediction, recommendations, clustering.
• A proactive approach to generating and implementing ideas, with a demonstrated ability to act on them.
• Experience in building end-to-end ML systems.
• Enjoyment in effectively communicating your team’s work to stakeholders, addressing their inquiries, and fostering understanding.
