What You'll Do
- Create Cutting-Edge Models: Develop innovative models and solutions to enhance and streamline marketing decision-making processes, integrating them into our market-leading technology platform.
- Assess Marketing Effectiveness: Use advanced techniques such as attribution analysis, incrementality tests, and media mix modeling to evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives.
- Guide Marketing Strategies: Translate insights into actionable strategies to guide our marketing budget allocation.
- Comprehensive Data Analysis: Handle extensive data sets to conduct comprehensive analyses from start to finish, including data preparation, model training, and thorough evaluation.
- Promote Best Practices: Own, improve, and promote best practices and scientific models for Machine Learning, advanced statistics, and predictive modeling within the team.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with a talented group of Data Scientists, Engineers, and Analysts to drive success across Emma's marketing efforts.
Who We're Looking For
- Educational Background: You have a Master's or PhD in computer science, applied mathematics, data science, statistics, or related fields.
- Industry Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist in an industry setting.
- Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, strong experience with Python and its common machine learning libraries (e.g., sklearn, Tensorflow/PyTorch).
- Cloud and MLOps: Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS), MLOps, and version control.
- Deployment Experience: Ideally, experience in deploying, maintaining, and updating models in production.
- Business Acumen: Experience working with business stakeholders, gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions, and explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
