Job Overview
Join Scalable Capital, a leading FinTech company in Europe, as a Kotlin/Java Engineer in our Broker department. This role is available onsite in Munich or remotely within Germany. You will be part of a highly motivated cross-functional team focused on expanding our broker business, which is one of the fastest-growing neo-brokers in Europe.
Responsibilities
- Build and run cutting-edge technology platforms for trading and investment.
- Work within agile and self-sufficient teams, practicing continuous integration and deployment, test automation, and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and maintain high security standards.
- Engage in domain-driven design and potentially work with distributed architectures and microservices.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable qualification.
- Experience with our tech stack including Kotlin, Java, GraphQL, Docker, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
- A passion for well-architected, testable, and documented code.

Recruitment Process

- Initial interview (approx. 45 min)
- Final round of interviews including a technical deep dive, a discussion with the Head of Engineering, and an HR interview.
