Flo Health is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and scale a team of talented engineers. Responsibilities

• Lead and Scale the Team: Manage a team of 5+ engineers, organizing work towards the product vision.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the development team and Product Manager to deliver business value in a timely manner while following and improving upon established quality metrics.
• Technical Leadership: Orchestrate technical aspects of product development and implement the most suitable development processes for the team.
• Coaching and Development: Coach the team to learn and apply engineering best practices, from UI standards and CI/CD to API design and Secure SDLC.
• Team Growth: Hire and onboard new members, perform training activities, and help team members follow their path for professional growth.
• Issue Resolution: Solve or escalate issues within and outside the team.
• Cross-team Collaboration: Ensure healthy collaboration with other teams, identify and manage technical and organizational dependencies.
• Feedback and Transparency: Support an environment of transparency by providing prompt feedback, both gently and honestly.

Required Experience

• Programming Languages: 6+ years of experience in Scala, Java, Kotlin, Objective-C/Swift.
• System Design: Experience in designing and implementing robust distributed systems.
• Team Management: 4+ years of team management experience, including establishing processes in a cross-functional team, building tech roadmaps, and change management.
• People Management: Skills in providing one-on-ones, resolving conflicts, creating career development plans, mentoring, and growing engineers.
• Engineering Practices: Extensive knowledge of engineering practices and Agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with ML models.
• Full-stack development experience.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Experience building consumer or client-facing products.
• Understanding of A/B testing techniques.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: €7,870 – €9,170 gross per month.
