Mission
Oodrive is Europe's first trusted collaborative suite, empowering over a million users to enhance their business activities while securing sensitive data. As a Lead Backend Developer at Oodrive, you will be a pivotal part of our Engineering team, specifically within one of our Core Teams of about ten Backend Developers. This team collaboratively develops our various solutions, and you will lead continuous improvement efforts and mentor the team.
Your Role
- Development: You will be responsible for developing new features, performing corrective maintenance, and optimizing the technical architecture to enhance customer experience. You will also propose architectural improvements for more deployment flexibility and easier maintenance.
- Team Interaction: As a coach to your team of Backend Developers, you will help them enhance their skills in areas such as modeling, review, and best practices implementation. Additionally, you will serve as a key contact for other Leads (Frontend, QA, Mobile) and teams (Product, Delivery, Support).
- Community Participation: At Oodrive, we have Practice Communities that bring together enthusiasts around tech themes. We also organize Coding Dojos (internal workshops with experts) and R&D Days (technical conferences). By participating in these initiatives, you will play a significant role in your own development and that of the community.

Profile
- Technical Expertise: You are a technical reference with strong skills in Java (8, 11 or higher), ideally Spring Boot, and proficient in developing REST APIs.
- Legacy Systems: You are autonomous and meticulous, capable of quickly adapting to legacy systems, which requires a good ability to analyze code with minimal documentation.
- Agility: You will join a team that uses agile/SCRUM methodologies, and you will be proactive in suggesting process improvements.
