Job Overview
Join SAP as a Lead Backend Engineer in the SAP Signavio - Modeling & Consumption Group. In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the SAP Signavio Process Manager. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust and scalable backend solutions, focusing on business process modeling and simulation software.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Strategy: Contribute to the technical strategy for the team and broader initiatives across all SAP Signavio teams.
- Solution Design: Architect, design, and implement backend solutions for the SAP Signavio Process Manager.
- Leadership: Lead by example through hands-on coding, code reviews, and ensuring best practices in software development.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services with front-end applications and other systems.
- Agility: Embrace agility and adaptability, ensuring the team delivers high-quality solutions within specified timelines.
- Mentorship: Invest in coaching and mentoring team members to foster their professional growth.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify new opportunities and advocate for improvements to current products and team processes.
Qualifications
- Education: A master's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 6+ years in backend development with a focus on scalable and distributed systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages. Experience with NoSQL or SQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and related cloud technologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Fluent English is mandatory.
