Lead Data Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our team in Paris. This is a key role where you will manage a team of 2 Data Analysts and 1 Data Engineer, ensuring the maintenance and evolution of our data warehouse. You will work closely with product and technical teams to continuously improve our data processes and integrate innovative AI solutions to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Management (30%)
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Optimize data ingestion and transformation processes.
- Manage and optimize costs.
AI Projects (25%)
- Collaborate with stakeholders and data analysts to prepare datasets.
- Integrate and deploy AI models into production pipelines.
Team Management (20%)
- Supervise and support team members.
- Assign tasks and track project progress.
Data Quality and Security (15%)
- Implement data quality controls.
- Manage data security and regulatory compliance.
Communication and Collaboration (10%)
- Meet with stakeholders to understand data needs.
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure project alignment.
Desired Profile
- Strong experience in Data Engineering.
- Proficiency in ETL technologies and data pipelines.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- AI skills, including machine learning concepts and modeling techniques.
- Team management experience.
- Technical skills in data architecture, Python, and big data tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure deployment with Terraform.
- Knowledge of data governance and data catalog tools.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 based on profile.
- BSPCE: 35% of fixed annual salary after 1 year, with a 3-year vesting period.
