The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead the design and development of innovative web and mobile eCommerce applications across various business lines including retail delivery, wholesale B2B, and consumer packaged goods. This role is crucial in a dynamic, business-facing team that aligns strategic objectives with tactical demands in the rapidly evolving cannabis industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse development team of varying seniority and skill sets.
- Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Review and write code and technical documentation.
- Build and integrate client-side single-page applications and server-side microservices into functional solutions that delight and engage our customers.
- Lead the design and development of modern, cloud-native software, producing decoupled and highly-performant systems.
- Leverage cloud-native serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda to drive innovation and maximize speed to market in the software development lifecycle.
- Optimize architecture for security, scalability, reliability, and resiliency.
- Codify, maintain, and improve testing processes to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive professional development experience, including at least 1 year in a lead capacity.
- Track record of designing, delivering, and supporting complex technical solutions across multiple development cycles, balancing priorities and distributed teams.
- Deep technical competency and thought leadership, leveraging existing proficiencies or adopting new frameworks; eCommerce experience preferred.
- Proficiency in unit, functional, and integration testing using frameworks such as Jest or Selenium.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases; functions and containers; REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Knowledge of DevOps, cloud architecture, and platform services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
