Overview
Join Molten Cloud as a Lead Software Engineer and be part of a dynamic team that empowers rights-holders of digital media content. Our platform transforms and simplifies complex intellectual property rights, content, and licensing operations, enabling rights-holders to efficiently monetize their content globally. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our core platform, which is used by film and TV organizations across six continents.
Key Responsibilities
- Module Ownership: Take ownership of and lead the development of select modules. Meet users, define requirements, build, deploy, and iterate in Agile sprints.
- Team Leadership: Build project teams with other engineers, plan and lead sprints.
- Platform Design and Architecture: Contribute to the design, architecture, and research of Molten’s core platform, including data transmission, security, back-end, and front-end development.
- System Deployment: Test accuracy, performance, and scalability to deploy robust systems for global user groups.
- User-Centric Development: Incorporate user-centricity in the product by meeting directly with users to collect requirements and feedback to continuously improve and optimize the user experience.
- Collaboration: Work with the business development team to articulate and share the value proposition of your system to its users and collaborate with technology partners to design and integrate broader solutions.
- Mentorship: Train, coach, and mentor engineers on the team.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4 to 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience, developing web-based products.
- Expertise in Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with MongoDB, API documentation, Vue.js, blockchain, and DevOps tools is a strength.
- Strong analytical skills with a background in computer science, math, physics, or a similar field.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
