Lead Web Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Web Developer to join our team at Fifty & Fifty, a digital agency dedicated to social good. In this role, you will collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and lead the development of impactful digital projects. You will transform designs into interactive experiences for meaningful causes and campaigns, working both independently and as part of a team. This position involves leading technical ideation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of custom websites and large-scale applications on WordPress and Webflow.
Collaborate with account, project management, creative, and development teams on project scoping and execution.
Write clean, testable, and efficient code using best practices.
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
Ensure timely project delivery within budget.
Provide technical support and share expertise with the team.
Oversee and mentor junior developers.
Work closely with designers to implement UI/UX elements like graphics, navigation, and animations.
Conduct performance tests and optimize for responsiveness and resource usage.
Create and maintain documentation for projects.
Manage tasks and productivity using Monday.com, ensuring accurate time tracking and reporting.

Skills & Requirements

Proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Expert in PHP and MySQL.
Extensive experience with WordPress and knowledge of Webflow.
Organized and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Comfortable with Git workflows (feature branching, Gitflow).
Team collaboration and management skills.
Strong eye for design and attention to detail.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
