Job Overview
Expedia Group is seeking a talented Machine Learning Scientist III to join our marketing team. This role is pivotal in developing innovative algorithms that power our global marketing campaigns. You will be working on complex computational problems, focusing on scalable solutions for bidding, content optimization, segmentation, and capital allocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable algorithms for various marketing functions, including bidding and content optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and identify key business challenges and opportunities.
- Develop end-to-end software solutions using statistics, machine learning, optimization, and control methods.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure solutions meet business needs and generate valid inferences.
- Innovate and add complexity where necessary to solve sophisticated problems.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong algorithm design and object-oriented programming skills in languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with real data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and oral communication abilities.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position in Seattle is €137,500 to €192,500 annually, with the potential to increase up to €220,000 based on performance. Expedia Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and travel-related perks.
