About Banded Mongooses
At Banded Mongooses, we are dedicated to enhancing IRL social experiences through innovative applications and platforms that bridge the gap between URL and IRL. Our mission is to simplify the emotional and logistical barriers of planning, making it easier for individuals to invest in their relationships and enjoy life together.
Current Projects
We are currently focusing on two main projects:
- iOS App: This app is designed to make everyday communications within your inner circle about activities like coffee, drinks, and walks more accessible and enjoyable.
- Web App: Aimed at simplifying the venue booking process for party hosts in NYC, this app helps streamline the planning phase and enhance the overall experience.
Both projects are in the MVP stage and are in beta testing. We are looking for an Early Full-Stack Engineer to help elevate our products and respond to market feedback.
About The Role
As a Part-Time Full Stack Software Engineer at Banded Mongooses, you will lead the development of new iOS and Web-based products. You will work closely with co-founders from concept to launch, playing a crucial role in the evolution of our platforms.
Requirements
- Proficiency with React and NodeJS, or similar technologies
- Proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, CoreData, and Swift Composable Architecture
- Experienced with AWS, Supabase, Firebase, and other Cloud Services
- Experienced with PostgreSQL
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate your thoughts clearly and being a team player
