Overview
MongoDB is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to join our team in Dublin, focusing on full-stack development using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js). This role involves designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure web applications. You will be responsible for leading the architecture and implementation of new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring code quality through comprehensive testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack web applications using Node.js, React, and other related technologies.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of new features.
- Optimize application performance and ensure security.
- Mentor other engineers and lead technical discussions to resolve conflicts and align on technical decisions.
- Engage in hands-on coding, driving projects to completion.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 9 years of experience in full-stack web development.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API development and web application security.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and Mocha.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies.
