Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer at Vanta, you will be pivotal in leading and mentoring our engineering team, focusing on backend development with MongoDB. You will tackle complex scalability and reliability issues, and drive projects that ensure the robustness of our infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Set direction for critical infrastructure with a focus on MongoDB.
- Solve scalability problems related to our build system, developer workflows, and key infrastructure.
- Lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers.
- Support design reviews, communicate constraints, and help engineers make the right trade-offs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
- Strong experience with MongoDB and related scalability and reliability challenges.
- Experience in technical leadership roles.
- Background in startup environments or fast-paced companies.
- Interest or experience in security.
