Front-End Engineer with Angular Experience

Job Description

Join Ring as a Front-End Engineer and accelerate the adoption of low-cost whole home security solutions to make neighborhoods safer! You will be responsible for building user interfaces that assist customers in making purchase decisions. This includes developing automated recommendations, a knowledge base, and support for the Ring Call Service that advises customers.

Key Responsibilities

Write, test, and deploy code using Amazon and AWS tools.
Design new user interfaces and features, ensuring high standards and best practices.
Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver optimal user experiences.
Occasionally develop or fix issues on the back-end.
Work within a Scrum team, participating in daily stand-ups, planning, grooming, and retrospective meetings.
Contribute to the estimation and planning of work.
Provide on-call support as needed.

Since its founding in 2013, Ring has been on a mission to make neighborhoods safer. From the first-ever video doorbell to the award-winning DIY Ring Alarm system, Ring’s smart home security product line, as well as the Neighbors app, offer users affordable whole-home and neighborhood security.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, C#) used for back-end development.
Experience with CI/CD tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with scalable, reliable, and high-performing web services.
Experience in defining, developing, and maintaining web APIs.
Knowledge of AWS or other cloud technologies, including serverless design patterns.
Experience with Linux.
