Overview
Join Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineer on the Azure Container Instances team, where you will be at the forefront of innovation in cloud computing. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across various layers of the technology stack, enhancing user experiences and building scalable distributed cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to determine user requirements for scenarios.
- Identify dependencies and generate design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Develop extensible and maintainable code across products.
- Build scalable systems and services for managing traffic in and out of Azure Container Instances.
- Proactively seek new knowledge, adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns to improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products.
- Share knowledge with other engineers and engage in continuous learning.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Senior level technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as GO, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Extensive experience in developing large distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containers and large scale systems.
- Ability to engage in site-reliability engineering practices.
- Senior level experience with cloud compute related projects.
