We are seeking a motivated and talented Data Scientist / Quantitative Intern to join our Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACE) team. This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your in-depth and practical knowledge of Data Science, Quant Engineering development, business analysis, and Financial Instruments pricing. Your excellent analytical skills will play a crucial role in delivering content analytics for the firm and influencing our broader sector strategy.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with quants and data scientists to develop, test, and implement applications.
- Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics and classification tasks.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Document methodologies, processes, and results for internal use and future reference.
- Optimize code performance and ensure low-latency execution of applications.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Solid understanding of programming languages such as C++, Python, or R.
- Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
- First experience in LLM and prompt engineering is ideal.
- Familiarity with financial markets is a plus.
