Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Python Data Lab Developer to join our dynamic Data Lab team at Euronext. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our data business teams located in Europe to imagine and create innovative data products and accelerate the growth of our market data franchise. Your expertise in Python and data technologies will be pivotal in driving our strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with data business teams across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Collaborate with business teams, operation teams, and IT teams to gather requirements and design corresponding data solutions.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems.
- Co-create prototypes with business teams to demonstrate product value, iterating through short cycles until value is proven.
- Transition prototypes into production-ready pipelines, ensuring data quality, robustness, and efficiency.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience using data computer languages (Pandas, PySpark) to transform data from large data sets, querying databases and creating data architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on practical implementations.
- Expertise in writing clean, maintainable, and robust code in Python.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
- Interest in automated testing and continuous integration.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
