About the Role

We are seeking a talented Fullstack Developer to join our Engineering Team within the Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP) department at LSEG. This role is pivotal in bridging Corporate Technology with LSEG's central engineering, operations, and compliance teams. As a Fullstack Developer, you will be instrumental in enabling our DevOps teams to bring new software or features to production swiftly, ensuring all central requirements and changes are supported through aligned EXP squads.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement technical changes required or lead coordinated efforts where multiple capability dependencies exist.
• Ensure correct tooling standards and automation of operational tasks.
• Support CT Compliance, Security Controls, and Risk Management.
• Maintain IT operations performance and error risk in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Continuously review operating metrics and data to identify improvement opportunities.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in HTML, ReactJs, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with server-side programming languages like NodeJs, Java, and Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI.
• Experience with front-end and back-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency with developer tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of databases and performance testing.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux Servers and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 4-6 years of experience in software development.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and advanced skills in infrastructure as code.
• Minimum knowledge and understanding of financial markets is desirable.
