Role Overview
Join LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) as a Fullstack Developer in our Engineering Team within Engineering Excellence & Productivity (EXP), Corporate Technology (CT). This role bridges Corporate Technology and LSEG central engineering, operations, and compliance teams. The focus is on enabling our CT DevOps teams to bring new software or new features to production as quickly as possible, supporting all central requirements and changes via aligned EXP squads.
Responsibilities
- Implement technical changes directly or lead CT coordinated efforts with multiple capability dependencies.
- Ensure correct tooling standards are followed and automate operational tasks.
- Support CT Compliance, Security Controls, and Risk Management.
- Maintain an acceptable level of IT operations performance and error risk in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Continuously review operating metrics and data to identify opportunities to improve.
Technical Profile/Essential Skills
- Proficiency in HTML, ReactJs, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side programming languages like NodeJs, Java, Python.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab CI).
- Experience with front-end and back-end frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Developer Tools (ex: GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
- General understanding of Databases.
- Understanding of performance testing and optimization.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Hands-on experience with Windows/ Linux Servers and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- 4-6 years experience in software development.
- Experience with Kubernetes and other orchestration tools.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Managing incidents, change requests, service requests, and driving TRT (Technical Recovery Team) calls.
- Strong troubleshooting skills on these platforms.
- Advanced skills in infrastructure as code.
- Minimum knowledge and understanding of financial markets are desirable.
