About The Team And Role

The Quora Core Product team is pivotal in enhancing the user experience on Quora. As a Mid-Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:

Impact a broad range of features crucial to the Quora community.
Work on projects that enhance user engagement, content quality, and overall creator experience.
Utilize data and experimentation to develop scalable solutions.
Collaborate in a fast-paced, agile environment to deliver high-quality, functional features.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full stack web applications using Python and JavaScript.
Engage in all phases of product development, from ideation to deployment.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and data scientists to prototype and implement new features.
Ensure the performance and reliability of systems that handle massive scale.

Minimum Requirements

Available for coordination during Quora's core hours (9am-3pm PT).
2+ years of experience in building consumer web products.
Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and related technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong frontend experience, particularly with React and Typescript.
Passion for Quora's products and mission.
