Job Overview
Globant is seeking a Senior AEM Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in the development, design, testing, and deployment of Web Content Management (WCM) solutions and next-generation web content management systems (WCMS). You will collaborate closely with clients, developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts, and end-users to build state-of-the-art WCMS and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create efficient content models, security models, workflows, and templates. Develop AEM templates and workflows leveraging current AEM software releases using AEM Components and J2EE skill set.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clients and team members to effectively communicate design options and considerations.
- Innovation: Help establish overarching program goals and objectives in the WCM program at a customer.
- Coding Standards: Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse.
Required Skills and Experience
- Software Development: Extensive experience in software development, primarily using Java.
- AEM Expertise: Solid experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and a thorough understanding of its building blocks.
- Frameworks: Proficiency in JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, JSON.
- Web Technologies: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Tools: Familiarity with MAVEN and any AEM MAVEN archetype.
- Communication: Advanced English skills.

This position is remote and can be filled from anywhere in Colombia.
