What You'll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer focusing on backend development, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the core functionalities and infrastructure of Docusign's products. Your role will involve a variety of tasks including:
- Performance Optimization: Enhancing the software's performance and scalability.
- Deployment and Provisioning: Managing deployment processes and system provisioning.
- Telemetry: Implementing and managing telemetry systems to monitor the software.
- Automation: Evolving automation and test automation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software components.
- Participate in solution and vision discussions within the team.
- Ensure the product meets key performance indicators like performance, scalability, upgradeability, and maintainability.
- Drive your own projects, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience: 5+ years of coding in production environments using Java, Python, or Scala.
- Skills: Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience in designing scalable cloud-based software platforms.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in AI, machine learning, and building large-scale big data pipelines using technologies like Spark and Databricks.
