Job Overview

Docusign is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our Digital Experience team within the Marketing vertical. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for executing all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of our e-commerce application. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and enjoys solving complex problems using the latest technologies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, user-focused experiences using React and Node.js.
• Maintain and develop automated tests for your code.
• Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum software development practices, including automated unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and version control systems like GIT.
• Proactively raise issues that might impact delivery commitments.
• Diagnose and resolve production-impacting issues and maintain the code as needed.

Job Designation

This is a hybrid position, requiring the employee to divide their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required, with a minimum of 2 days per week in-office, though this may vary by team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience building single-page applications.
• Experience coding and designing in React/Node using TypeScript.
• Experience working with CSS and cross-browser behaviors and quirks.
• Experience building REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with user authentication and authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for learning and working with new technologies.
• Strong understanding of design principles.
• Experience creating accessible websites.
• Product development experience building large-scale web applications.
• Experience designing and developing highly scalable consumer-facing web applications.
• Familiarity with SaaS eCommerce and multichannel web marketing.
• Experience with internationalization and localization.
• Experience with server-side technologies like Node.js.
• Experience working with Headless CMS.

Compensation

The base salary for this position in California ranges from €108,700 to €168,675, depending on geographic location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
