About the Role
As a Senior API Software Engineer at Butlr, you will be instrumental in developing and leading our core API products. This role involves designing and implementing APIs that are crucial for the seamless interaction between our customers and our People Sensing Platform. Your contributions will enable smarter building management and improved user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-performance APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable API architectures.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of API services.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Optimize and monitor API performance.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in API development and system design.
- Proficiency in Golang or similar backend languages.
- Strong experience with SQL databases.
- Expertise in designing and developing GraphQL API schemas and resolvers.
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS or Azure using tools like Terraform.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
