Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Your Role

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Machine Learning Engineering block team. You will work with other MLEs to enable MLOps capabilities on our central ML platform based on user needs (Data Domains) and create clear guidelines and processes around the subject. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the stability, reliability, and security of our platform and models.

Responsibilities

• Educate yourself and others with the right technical capabilities and the latest innovations.
• Mentor your MLE colleagues on technical craftsmanship.
• Develop and productionize use cases with Data Scientists, automating tasks where possible via CI/CD templates and standardized frameworks.
• Apply MLOps principles to streamline deployment and post-deployment steps of use cases to central platforms, and iteratively improve the entire model management life cycle.
• Participate in the ideation and design of ML platform with platform engineers.
• Create guidelines and mature processes for Data Science teams to use MLOps capabilities.
• Experiment and implement new ML capabilities.
• Create a collaborative atmosphere in the MLE community of practice.

Your Profile

• 3+ years of experience in building machine learning-based solutions.
• Pragmatic and value-focused, not afraid to work with existing solutions to reduce time-to-market.
• Proficient in programming, particularly Python and SQL, and producing high-quality Python code.
• Adept in software engineering and ML lifecycle, familiar with modern engineering practices.
• Familiar with tools such as scripting tools (e.g., bash, unix), Mlflow, Apache Airflow, Git, Docker, Kanban boards, etc.
• Experience with Cloud services and tooling, preferably Microsoft Azure, and ML platforms such as Databricks and Azure machine learning services.

Working Environment

You will be part of the Dialogue Orchestration department, which is at the heart of the innovation and growth strategy of our Personal & Business Banking business line. The team is a multidisciplinary group of ambitious colleagues working with an Agile mindset and focusing on building and enabling hyper-personalization use-cases for the bank.
