Job Overview
Freeday is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to enhance our innovative team. This role involves hands-on development and scaling of machine learning models that drive our AI-powered solutions. You will own projects from end to end, including model selection, development, deployment, and operation, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and impactful.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning algorithms to improve our automated services.
- Implement and oversee MLOps practices to streamline the lifecycle of model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Make strategic decisions about the use of machine learning models, evaluating whether a model is necessary and selecting the appropriate model for each use case.
- Lead and mentor a team of less experienced engineers, providing guidance and leadership to elevate their skills and understanding of machine learning applications.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define project objectives, aligning machine learning projects with business goals and delivering innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role, preferably within the tech sector, focusing on AI innovations.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud) and comprehensive knowledge of MLOps tools (Kubeflow, MLflow).
- Ability to take full responsibility for the end-to-end implementation of machine learning projects.
