About the Role
As a Senior Backend Developer at Minddistrict, you will be a key player in enhancing our ehealth platform, which is designed to empower mental health and wellbeing professionals. You will join our integrations-development team, focusing on creating reusable components and systems, and ensuring interoperability between internal and external systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with other developers, DevOps, designers, and QA engineers from ideation to deployment.
- Ensure the highest quality of code through code reviews and automated tests.
- Maintain a critical eye on security and privacy standards.
Projects You'll Work On
- Setting up a global data infrastructure across all platforms with our Data Scientists.
- Integrating Minddistrict with major electronic health record vendors.
- Launching new therapeutic tools in collaboration with the mobile app development team.
- Integrating video communication services into the platform.

Ideal Candidate
- Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experienced with API design and browser APIs.
- Knowledgeable in healthcare interoperability standards like HL7 FHIR/ADT, OpenID Connect, SAML, and OAuth.
- Excellent command of the English language.
