The Role
You will navigate the complexities of feature development within the multifaceted travel domain. Your work will directly impact millions of users by ensuring a seamless, high-quality user experience. Our backend systems are crucial for the performance and scalability of our platform, and your role will involve:
- Developing complex backend systems using Python, with potential use of other languages like Ruby or Go.
- Managing databases and messaging queues with tools like PostgreSQL, Celery, and RabbitMQ.
- Engaging in asynchronous programming and ensuring robustness of the web stack.
Who You Are
- You have 7+ years of experience in backend development, particularly with Python.
- You possess a strong background in relational databases and messaging queues.
- You are pragmatic in problem-solving, balancing quick fixes with long-term solutions.
- You have excellent English communication skills and value collaboration over competition.
